When the PS2 has perhiprails for internet connection, will you have to have a high speed cable internet modem, or will your own computer have anything to do with it? Because the way the HDD, LCD Screen, and all the other stuff looks, it looks like a real buyer.
THANKS FOR THE HELP.

you can have high speed cable, DSL or regular 56K the adapter does it all
You have to buy the harddrive seperately

My cable modem came from my ISP, from the back of it is an RJ-45 hookup that goes to my NIC.
So you\'ll probably have to buy/rent a cable/dsl modem.

I have cable and DSL and they both just have an ethernet connection going from the modem to a hub. Then I disperse that to multiple computers. I would assume you could tap the PS2 right into the hub like another terminal.

There will have to be support for LAN type stuff on your PS2.. I would hope they would plan that people already have networks in their house and are adding a PS2 to it... Not just getting broadband for a PS2...
If not it will be easy to figure some way around it :D
