Title: PS2: Madden 2002 Screens!

Some of the new features include:

Improved Graphics engine to feature complete detailed faces without the "white eyes" that plagued last year\'s version.

New and expanded Madden cards that allow for even more replay value.

Create-A-Team feature now implemented for all those creative people out there.

Improved AI that now won\'t let the passing "money" plays rule the field. Also better line AI for better running game.

Cheerleaders!

Don\'t care about the graphics at this point, they\'re fine, it\'s the gameplay that need\'s work. I can\'t play 2001 any more - too bloody annoying, the computer hardly runs, the DB AI is retarded, and QBs can lug 60 yard pinpoint passes while jumping off one foot (that\'s with the QB accuracy turned down). It\'s like NFL Blitz but with more players.

I pity the fools who think the PS2 is a weak system.  We all have to take into consideration the fact that talented developers like EA and Square will push the PS2 to it\'s limits, and beyond it\'s established limits.  Square did this with the SNES and PSX, and they will surely do it with the PS2.  While a factor of ease is certainly not present in the PS2 development process (an arguable point), the second generation of videogames have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that developers are starting to master the system.  There is just too much money to be made to abandon the PS2.  It will stay around for the long-run (5-7 years).

That\'s what I thougt but I was not sure. NFL 2K1 is so great with online play.

the players bodys still look REALLY stocky but i spose short and fater players are better than tall and skinny..... right?

Not enough for me to invest in a new football game unless it\'s online playable.  It\'s just hard to justify 50 bucks when the first game is so darn good.

I\'ll probably get the new NFL Blitz though.  Any pictures of this yet?
