Title: RED FACTION DEMO availibe to UK Residents BUT....

Yup the Red Faction Demo is avaliable to UK residents IF you but the Official Playstation 2 Magazine-UK and fill out the voucher.

This Demo will cost you £5

and will have 3 huge sections includeing the MiniSub and Mech Sub boss

the conditions are.....


You get the £5 back when you return your Demodisk forthe Full game, you see part of the deal is that they put a advanced order in for the Full game.

anyhooo ill get it tommorow after my Integrated Pollution Control EXAM :(

and ill tell you all about it, if it\'s like the US demo Disk version.

so if you have the Official Playstation 2 Magazine-UK and like the sound of RED Faction then Takethis offer up while stocks last.

Australians can also get the Red Faction Demo...

I purchased the latest Hyper>> issue which featured an advert on the back which announces that EB (Electronics Boutique) have FREE Red Faction Demos, No strings attached (at least i think :) )

Just thought you\'d like to know...

ooseven, where can you pick the demo up from. is it available from EB or do you have to post off for it. Thanks

Just fill out the voucher in the new official PS2 mag and walk into a Game Store or EB store with £5 to get the demo.

you get the £5 back when you return the demo for the FULL GAME :D.

Yeah the demo is good ....

BUT the Frame Rate is a bit crappy at times by the look of things its the US demo verson switched to PAL Format.

SO don\'t worry if its a bit rough, the final game is FAR FAR BETTER :D.

So this token thing. You buy OPS2, cut it out and then what?

Can you take it to a shop and get the demo straight away for your fiver or do you need to send the token away and wait like 2 weeks?

I think I\'ll just buy the game on the 15th of June, it got a 9.1 from IGN so thats good enough for me

Just remember that the demo is nothing like the final version!  The framerate is a consistent 30fps.  There\'s no slowdown.  The game is incredible.  Don\'t judge this game by the demo as the final version has been perfected.  I thought I wasn\'t going to buy this game when I played the demo, but when my friend bought it and I played it for an hour.  I was like "The graphics look awesome, and what happened to the slowdown?"  This is a AAA game and a must have for PS2.  Check out IGN\'s, Gamepro and Gamespot\'s reviews.  IGN gave the game a 9.1!
