I was on a Xbox forum just a little while ago and there was a interesting post i\'d thought i\'d share, basically he was saying how the Xbox seems to be getting all of PS2\'s titles and the PS2 dosent have too many exclusive games but Xbox has plenty, it kinda seems that way though dosent it?? Or is he wrong??

Both systems have some "exclusives", but the Xbox is getting plenty of PS2 ports. Now if this helps MS can be debated. You can look at it from the perspective that MS will get better versions of PS2 titles like Onimusha, or you can look at it like they are getting 6 months to a year old titles.
Right now, Sony has Square to fall back for exlcusive titles, but they are a third party developer, and while the franchise is currently exclusive to Sony, that may not last forever. Who knows. Third party developers are not bound to one console.
Sony also has Jax and Daxter as an exclusive and other games.
MS has Project Ego, Munch and the team and other games.
In my opinion, it is about even. There is not alot of exlcusive games comin\' around, \'cept on Nintendo\'s side, where they have plenty of first party franchises. Sony and MS are going to have a battle of third party developers.

You see it how you want to basically.
X-Box is getting Onimusha, Dino Crisis 2, MGS2, SH2, among others.
But Ps2 has way more exclusive games than games tha are going multi.
TM:B, GT3, Onimushua 2, FFX, DMC, WRC 2001, J & D, etc.

yeah i havent heard much at all about multiplayer games for the x box. i heard they wont have thir network up in time:(

I won\'t lie. I prefer XB\'s exclusives to PS2\'s. That being said, I won\'t be selling my PS2, so I can enjoy PS2 exclusives anyways.

Right. It was posted at MSXBOX.com, which is the biggest Xbox forum. So, it is only natrual for them to say that the Xbox has better exclusive and the ports of the PS2 games are a great thing. Just like you can expect to see people on a PS2 forum brag about how the PS2 exclusives are better..

It\'s the amount of pure AAA titles that the PS2 will be getting in the rest of this fiscal year that has me excited. Ports to the XB are fine and God knows I\'ll be buying one just for the enhanced MGSX, but that won\'t be out for awhile so I can throw away my current stock of pennies on the NGC, which is just full of exclusive 1st party titles, and save up more for the XB next year when it has something I\'m really looking forward to. As Altered said though, it\'s all in how you look at it. One man\'s crap is another mans gold and vice versa.

well i look at it this way
there are gonna be a lot of PS2 Owners buying Xboxs come November -
are these gamers really gonna want to own 2 Onimushas - or any of the other titles that have been out already for a system they already and if they own the original game -
i am sure their will be a lot of people that don\'t have a PS2 buying a Xbox but this was just a thought
-
yeah it is but nothing SO far EXCEPT HALO, has turned my head.
Expect to see more Exclusives and more AAA titles for MS BLACK BOX.
then again EXPECT to See more games For the Playstation 2 and Game Cube.
Ah such are the joy\'s of loving games..........

Yes it can be eithe way. As MGS2 is PS2 exclusive for a year or more so if MGSX is a port of MGS2 don\'t expect to see it on X-Box anytime soon. Matter is that the PS2 gets the titles first which make a world of difference. It shows that devs put PS2 first and also the titles such as THPS3 which will be on PS2 first and GC and X-Box in 2002 so the PS2 version will be the one advertised an talked about more and which in turn results in more sales for the PS2 version. And ports are usually never highly upgraded. Like onimusha for X-Box it\'s still got prerendered backgrounds which alot of X-Box boys pointed out in the PS2 version. But now are all like sweet we get onimusha but completly ignoring that it still has pre-rendered backgrounds. Which is the very thing they bashed the PS2 version for. I just don\'t get it.

well, yeah that is what I meant. thanks for covering my unexplanatory butt :D

Why own 2 copies? After hearing XB would have a enhanced version, I sold my PS2 version fast as I could.

...why don\'t you get the New Onimusha 2 on PS2 instead of an enhanced version of an old game on the X-Box ?
...you could spend your money better :D...

Since I like Onimusha 1, I want the best version. The same reason I have RE: Directors Cut on PSone. I can afford both, and I\'m 99% sure Onimusha 2 will also be on XB.

I\'m a \'Capcom Whore\', so I\'ll end up buying a copy of the enhanced Xbox version also. Along with Onimusha 2 for the PS2.
But then again, Capcom could make a game called "Interactive Poop" and I\'d buy it...
