Nar haven't thought about doing it as a business.. wouldn't be viable. The total cost would be up in the realms of 5k+ $AUD. That's not including time.

I'll do a breakdown of costs when I'm done but I'm pretty sure people won't be wanting to spend that much on a arcade.

after you mentioned that, i realize even if you buy the disc drive seperately, its still $50 cheaper than the disc drive supported version.

$380 for the digital slim version, $70 for the disc drive = $450.  while the disc supported version cost $500.  interesting.

Welcome back kopking! For me, I got married last year to an amazing woman. Right now we're living in a tiny condo while we wait for the market to get better so we can buy a house. I've been also working really hard on my YouTube channel and hoping to get a console repair/refurbishment business off the ground. That's pretty much the jist from me.

Sorry about the birthday emails. My hand was forced by the web host to disable it. They were claiming I was spamming by using the forum software to send emails (it was literally the birthday emails lol) and threatened to delete my account.
