ok, first you would have to go, start, find folders, and type in  .vbs    delete all the files u see there. that may fix it completely. otherwise, you will need help from the tech junkies here :D

P.S you opened the "I Love You" file? you idiot!
that was publicised too much, and you still did it? jeez man.
IM BACK. you have a problem with that? get in the back.

I would bet that you use Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express to read your e-mail don\'t you?  Well that\'s how some viruses are triggered.  Using a different mail client wil help you in the future.

For now, do what Falcon4 said, do a search on your HDs and delete all .vbs files.  You know how to do a search like that?  Search for this *.vbs

Then run your virus scanner (I recommend Norton over McAffe) and see if it picks up anything.  It may prompt you to do something. Then reboot and re-run a virus scan.

The virus detection software you downloaded did not include an option to clean the viruses?  Is this the way McAfee is doing business now?

Read this page: http://vil.mcafee.com/dispVirus.asp?virus_k=98617& which may be the same page you\'ve identified above.  It describes EVERYTHING the virus does, so you can clean it manually if you want to.  This is a pain though, so the virus detection program should include an option to do it for you instead.  The virus overwrites a bunch of different filetypes, including *.jpg files.  Those probably cannot be recovered.  Your *.mp3 files should still be there though.  They have been marked "hidden" so you\'ll have to configure Windows Explorer to display hidden files in order to remove the hidden flag and use them again.  Only do this AFTER you\'ve removed the virus.
