VF is no kiddy series. the object of the game is not to be able to master with ANYONE. The point of the game isn\'t to UNLOCK characters. Fact is...when you get down a coupe dozen of the literal thousands of moves, you can then see that VF3tb is a QUICK game, maybe too quick.
DOA2 can be b utton masher easy after you learn to juggle. Simple as that.
TTT, sideste then do Law\'s cheap ass 3 kick or whatever the hell else you can mash out in the time it takes Tekkens merry-go-round backrounds to catch up to your character.
VF games have never been mashers. Fast or slow (subjective of course) you still have to MASTER a character to not get green barred every time.
The differences that DOA3 and VF4 will have:
1) character list.
Tecmo will probably have hidden chracters, pus 3 or 4 new guys. VF4...2 new guys. doa3 will have the larger chracter list, while VF4 will have a MUCH higher combo list.
2) skill level.
button masher vs. game-that-makes-newbies-piss-their-pants. VF4 definetly has the edge here. Unless of course you are a pansy who likes to get tired of games in the first 24 hours.
3) sales.
I guarantee in the USofA, doa3 WILL sell 3 times as many copies as VF4. Quote me on that. Americans overall are more impressed with jugs and grapics than gameplay and skill.
