MS keeping its hopes to high????

It shouldn\'t come as any real surprise, but it seems that Sandy Duncan, a vice president of the home and retail division at Microsoft in the U.K. has let it slip in a conference in London that "The company is already working on the next version of Xbox". Wow, that\'s quite a statement from Sandy and was quoted by Bloomberg however, I\'m not so sure that good old Sandy should have let that line slip.... I guess we\'ll just have to wait for an official statment from the boys up in Redmond - just to clarfify the situation like

As much as a few of us here want to see xbox, why the hell does MS have to be working on Xbox2 when the first one is not even released. Oh wait, this is not an OFFICAL statement from the BIG BOYS at MS.

Engineering and creating a console for the next generation is going to be a difficult task, MS has 5 years tops to come up with something that can compete with it\'s competition, SONY PS3 and Nintendo\'s next gen. I can bet you that even Nintendo has something on the drawing board right now. Also I am only guessing here, but I can bet NVIDIA will be heavily involved in XBOX\'s next gen console, well that\'s probably a given.

MS is very confident of the XBOX, which means they will back it up all the way baby, they are serious about getting a piece of the pie, just like SOINY and Nintendo is. ALL I can say is lots games for the mainstream.

Do your friends happen to hang out at IGN froums, my advise to you and anybody is stay away from there, I\'m sure many other here can back me up on that.

I myself probably won\'t be getting XBOX till feb next year, My girlfriend will kick me in the ass If i get another console, as she knows that I will spend more time with XBOX than her, I tend to get realy addicted to ONline play, but since XBOX won\'t be having that till next summer, I think i\'m ok.

Seriously, I can\'t see you waiting for the Xbox that long. You are the reason that some members are even considering the Xbox. I can\'t imagine them having one before you. It just doesn\'t seem right.

Very true gohan, you are indeed correct, I might not get one at launch, but right after I will, Even if I have to sneak it in the house. An old colleague of mine works at  (EB Canada) and he will be putting an xbox aside for me, that an odd world. Also for those of you who Think I’m into halo, your wrong, I will not be getting that game. Ever since they announced there would be no online play, I said hell with it. HALO was designed from the ground up to be based on online play, not single player, and that stupid split screen. Although I will rent the game.

Out of all the games that will launch for XBOX ODDWORLD is what really impresses me. Might not have the best graphics(heck they even said there not pushing polys) but it\'s game play looks extremely promising, as well as it\'s story and it\'s environmental world.

TOO BAD ODDWORLD wont be in Dolby digital 5.1, cause that would be fu*k**ng awesome. Developers of that game don\'t have enough time to implement it. Just imagine that game in 5 discreet channels of digital sound.
