The limits of computers...GREAT article!!

Actually the limits of a laptop I should say.  Okay. I\'m sure most of you in this forum won\'t grasp this article at all due to it\'s deep usage of the greatness of Physics, but for those of you that have atleast taken a Physics class or 2 in college, you can probably understand it a little better.  WARNING!!  Difficult to grasp at first though...

Hey guys, I\'m 10 and i understand that stuff...........................well sorta.


I just dont understand the 3rd paragraph with all the numbers that are to big for my little mind.

 In the other paragraphs they are mainly saying there has to be a end due to the law of physics.


 To make it simple what goes up cant up up forever. Therefor it has a limit as of how far it can go.

That\'s right!!  It sure is the best site on the net!  Too bad I don\'t still live back in Boston though.  I would\'ve been going to the parties the put on.   I miss that old City, but heck ya, go Ars!

nice article, but a bit far fetched, I mean the border at which computer can go goes for everything, it\'s simply the limit for things

Check out the "Lounge" section of their forums,they always have an Ars meet planned somewhere.

But I would really like to check those out,meet Cæsar and the others.
It would be cool if there could be something like a psx2c meet or something.

i dont really agree with that article of a max power of a computer because it says that there can only be so much energy produced from a given mass but all you must do to increase the mass is make the laptop out of a material with a higher density. not to mention the fact that there is no given max weight for laptops(i have a really old one that has to be atleast 15lbs)

but then again i am just some kid not even out of high school so what the hell do i know
