IMO, this PPV gets a big thumbs down. The street fight was awesome, but that\'s about all it had.
As for the KOTR part, I can\'t say how disappointed I am, the way they did it this year SUCKED to say the least. 2 semi finals then the final, what a waste. They have to go back to the days when they had all the quarters THEN the semi\'s THEN the KOTR. It gave the King of the Ring title so much more meaning, not ONLY did you qualify and go that far, you also wrestled and won 3 matches in a row to get it.
As for the tag title match, sheesh. It\'s a given in the WWF now, if a suprise partner is announced, and kane isn\'t on the card, THE SURPRISE PARTNER WILL BE KANE. It\'s getting a bit old now, kane REALLY needs a push.
As for the UT vs. DDP match. I can\'t believe what I saw. ALL that buildup, and all we got was that. If I had have ONLY seen the title match, i would have told you that\'s the SOFTEST ending to a PPV match I\'ve ever seen. But the DDP vs. UT match took the cake. I have never ever been more disappointed in a match ending than that, and that\'s something cos I\'ve been watching the wrestling for over 10 years now.... Bob Backlund\'s win at Survivor Series \'94 (still my personal fave ppv ever) was up there, but this was just stupid. I at least thought he\'d come back and fight some more... geez
as for the title match, it was awesome through the middle, good wrestling match, but as i already said, what a WEAK ending. Especially seeing as that was the last match at the show.
VERY poor effort WWF, very poor.
