why a PM

basically you can buy the ethernet adapter alone or you can buy a HDD/Ethernetadapter together

both include 56K modems as well for those with out broadband

I believe the HDD will be 40GB in size

I forget the costs of both items though

I beleive the price for both has only been speculated. Yet the confirmed size of the hard drive is 40gb.

And double d, Does the Hard Drive Also come with a modem? Or is it just the Ethernet? The way you siad It it sounds as if both would come with it built in.

In Japan the HDD sold for about $350usd. It is rumored to cost about $200 to $300 in the US.

I\'ve read reports from people who bought Final Fantasy and used the HDD with that game. Apearently the ps2 adds the option to access the harddrive when your in the browser of the ps2. Where you see the Mem card and Game disk. It would also assume that this is where the Internet conenctivity option will go.

Ohh yeah, ditch you ISP come 2002 and get PlayOnline.
