Nintendo\'s image was never tarnished from VirtualBoy because there really wasn\'t that much hype behind it when everyone found out it was garbage. Nobody stewed over it and everyone got ready for N64, which would be delayed to heck.
Sony\'s image will not be tarnished from the failure of the HDD, because Sony is God to too many people. It won\'t sell well, and their PR will just avert the attention with something else. Hey, they did it with PSX\'s crap manufacturing.
JediMaster - you would be a fool to think Mario64 was the first good 3D game, you would also have to have started gaming with PSX and N64 to say that.
