Well i will get an XBox, but i\'m not sh!ting my pants over one like i did when the PS2 was comming out... ;) so it does not matter if the price is $2000 or $300, because i will wait until it is 300 or less before i buy one.

Now if the same was true for GC then i might take notice ;)

read the whole thread and findout why the x box "bundle" will cost  $500 +.

the "bundle" includes 3 games and some other stuff, not just the console!!!!!

microsoft wants to discourage preorders, so thats why they wanted the price so high.

Sure this may be just for the bundles but IMO M$ is digging themselves a hole, one which they may not be able to escape. Oh wait, this is Micro$oft we\'re talking about here, they\'ll just do what they (and evey other big company) always with a problem........throw a couple more million dollars at it!

oh yea and when you click on your link the first sentence says  "Games: Console will be bundled with software at many retailers, raising price to $499 to $1,200."    see the word many....that means alot but not all.
