That picture is just stupid. Get over it people. Zelda is now cel-shaded and has the best cel-shading ever. The game looks like a freaking Saturday mornin\' cartoon. Sure, Link\'s design needs alittle work, but the real time game footage still looks damn amazing.

I just love how all the anti-Nintendo fanboys jumped all over the cel-shaded news, like it was the end of the world. If you didn\'t like Nintendo or had no intenions of buying a GC before this, then it doesn\'t effect you. And if the gameplay still maintains the high quality that the Zelda series is known for, I could care less about the graphics (which are amazing, by the way!).

I swear, I\'ve never seen so many gay and kiddie jokes in my life. Its just sad, in my opinion. A few was fine, but whole threads of them is just stupid.

NewsFlash : You are not the only gamers in the world. There is still a lot and always will be a lot of younger gamers. This look caters to the younger gamers . Get over yourselves. Nintendo\'s target audience has and always will be the younger gamers, so this was a smart move on their part. And if they keep the gameplay up to the standards set by the previous Zelda\'s, then the hardcore mature gamers have nothing to whine about either.

Not everyone cares if something has blood or mature storylines. Its about fun. If I want a serious drama, I\'ll watch a movie.

i think the new look does certainly cater to the younger audience, so we cant complain.

Jumpman I don\'t think anyone here is going to dispute it\'s the best cell shading ever but if I draw a peice of Sh*t and cell shade it ...it would still be a peice of Sh*t!  The look of Zelda is what everyone is complaining about!   There is absolutely no reason at all they couldn\'t draw the same zelda as the one they showed at E3 and cell shade it!  That would be totally acceptable!

Professor I agree 100%.  Why couldn\'t they make link look like the demo last year then cel-shade him.  I guess nintendo had to turn zelda "kiddy".  :thepimp:

Could you whine and ***** about Nintendo\'s "kiddy" image anymore? My god, if you don\'t like it, then don\'t play it.  But, we have read probably a 100 posts of yours in the last three days about the same damn thing. Nintendo is "too kiddy". Okay, we got the point. Your not happy with the cel-shaded look, you are entitled to that. However, not every other post of yours has to be the same thing . I am sure you can find something else to post about or complain about, other than how Zelda looks "kiddy" now.

Nintendo has always went for the younger audience and this will fit in for the younger audience. The gaming industry is made up of children also, ya\' know? Someone needs to acter to that audience and see\'ing as MS and Sony doesn\'t, then Nintendo will continue to do it.

The level of immaturity in this thread just astounds me. To devote an entire thread to smilies and gay kiddie jokes is just incredible. IMO, THe people in this thread that go on about Nintendo being kiddy are in essence the pot calling the kettle black because your childish nature really shines here.

Now Microsoft and Sony doesn\'t cater to little kids, but they do have a few kiddy games to fill in the gaps.  Looney Toons, Sonic, Crash, Klonoa, Spyro, Jersy Devil, and more are for kids or adults.  Nintendo ignores the mature audiences and even had a press release confirming it.  You didn\'t see Sony changing GT3 to a cell shaded, stick-figure, kiddy-type, MotoToon game.  It\'s OK, catering to kids, but they make it so obvious.  That\'s why the N64 was so limited with genres and variety and that\'s why Sony dominated the 32 bit generation.  Sony and Microsoft are not stubborn like Nintendo.

I dont think that GT3\'s graphics are the reason that it is a more mature game, i believe that it because of the awesome realism and the challenging gameplay.  If sony kept the same gameplay but changed the look as u said i dont think i would like it much less the great gameplay would still be there to keep me playing.

This same example goes for Zelda, if you have loved past experiences of Zelda games and like the gameplay i dont think that graphics will affect the gameplay, so whats the big deal.  After about half hour of playing a great game u will forget about the graphics and focus on the game itself.
