SuupaBuu, you ignorant fool, the graphics really aren\'t that impressive. And by the looks of your posts, you should follow your own advice and play it. Because I am pretty sure you haven\'t.

Don\'t give people advice when you don\'t know first hand what you are talking about.

One stage on Tekken 4 has really shiny floors and it has alot of relection to it, everything reflects into it, excpet the characters. IMO, they could\'ve put alot more work into this game, they just wanted to have it out with VF4, which is MURDERING it!! :) hehehehe

I had to say it.

IronFist - the gameplay, as far as I can tell, and as far as I can see is still the same basically, althoguh it seems as it has been sped up to compete with the bigger arenas.

Unicron - you are forgetting Powerstone, Rival Schools 2, and Dragonball Legends (import), among other games have free roaming arenas. Tekken 4 is not the first.

I don\'t think that\'s right either.  Everyone on TekkenZaibatsu forums and #tekken say the game is a tiny bit slower than previous Tekkens.

That doesn;t look right to me, although the only chracters I ever see being used, sadly, is Law and Yoshimitsu. And they are rather fast characters.

It may just appear that way. Who knows.

You are right. But what I ment is that the huge free roaming stages make T4\'s development harder to focus on and better the graphics. The added walls, height levels etc ment they had to focus more on the gameplay changes.

If this is true then I am glad. Some of the movies I ve downloaded in Tekken Central looked blindly fast though. But the newer movies from TekkenZaibatsu look like you say.

You are wrong about that.  If VF4 looks better than Tekken 4, it is not because of the hardware.  In an interview a few months ago, the VF4 team said that the PS2 version of VF4 looked even better than the arcade version.  That means that the PS2 hardware is very capable of producing better graphics than what Tekken 4 has shown -- and Tekken 4 Arcade is on a souped-up PS2 with a lot more RAM.

So if the VF4 in the arcade looks better than Tekken 4 in the arcade (souped up PS2), and VF4 on the PS2 (normal PS2) looks better than VF4 in the arcade, it is just a problem with Namco, not the hardware.

i thought the the naomi2 board had several advantages like more ram. i agree the ps2 can produce better graphics then T4 arcade.
tis better to be cheap and good then just good

Game play and graphics are inseparable because
if the game play sucks, the graphics won\'t help the game,
yet when the graphics suck and the game play rocks, you
still have people disappointed that the game is fun to play,
but sucks graphically... IMO.

I want T4 to have better graphics then TTT, and have
Better game play ;)

AlteredBeast.  Before you start calling people ignorant fools maybe you should read my previous post, which I mention the gameplay, which should tell you that already played the game at the arcades.  PLS dont call people fools.

Maybe I shouldnt use the word impressive for the graphics. Maybe I should say good graphics instead, that is what it is. The shiny stage, good graphics. Wow, this level has bad graphics because everything reflects into it except for the characters

I just downloaded the new movie fron tekkenzaibatsu featuring Kazuya doing combos.
Something that impresses me in the movie is the size of some stages. Some of them are small but others are HUGE!!I ve never seen such huge enviroments in any other fighting game.Epsecially the one inside a building and the one in the city.

They look almost limitless.I wonder what happens if you try to move as far as you can into the enviroments.Perhaps someone that has seen or even playied the game could tell me.

The only footage I ve seen so far from DOA3 was from CNN.It is still divided into sections.
In Tekken4 you can look at the distance and see no ending.

The forest stage isn\'t divided into sections. The stage with the city, the beach, and the stage with the waterfall aren\'t divided into sections either.
