No msconfig in Win2k.  You have to go into the registry.

Start --> Run.  Type REGEDT32

Go to HLKM\\SOFTWARE\\MICROSOFT\\WINDOWS\\CURRENTVERSION\\RUN and disable the values of the programs you don\'t want to have available at startup.

Note: Win2k needs many programs to function properly and to add stability to your system.  Only disable the programs you KNOW have been implanted since you first installed the OS.  You know, things like Office 2000 desktop bar, Webshots, quicktime task.exe, etc...  If you\'re not sure about the program you are disabling, export its value so you can re-import it back into the registry if needed.
