No.  The closest thing the PS2 is getting to Diablo 2 is Baldur\'s Gate: Dark Alliance.  It\'s coming out November 15th.

Diablo (the original) was on the psone.. I didn\'t know that until I was at the video store looking for dvds...

I doubt number 2 will come, and it\'s best played on the pc (IMO)..

Blizzard has hinted about making games for the xbox.  I have D2 on my computer so I don\'t care if they go.

Not likely. Blizzard primarily sticks to the PC. Starcraft 64 for example, made by another company. And with big games being developed now (World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3), we probably won\'t see a Blizzard game on the PS2 for a while unless they have another company doing it.

As for the Xbox rumor, pretty much like the Square rumor. Keeps popping up, yet nothing comes out of it (though, I do think Square will eventually be on the Xbox [via FF11] the official announcement, or confirmation hasn\'t materilized despite tons and tons of rumors on this subject).
Opinions are not important.

Yeah, but I think it makes sense for Blizzard to make games for the xbox--it\'s a simple port, and would be a sure multimillion seller.  I would actually be surprised if Blizzard never published to the xbox.

guess I\'ll just have to play it on the PC. I mean the 1st diablo was much better on pc than ps1, so I wont be disapointed. I just dislike to play games at the pc for some reason.
