Tekken bores me a lot. The same game with a pair of new fighters... no new game modes, no new combos...

Well, you are right about one thing.  There are no new game modes.  But how many arcade fighting games have more than "arcade" mode?

The combos are completely different now.  They made the gravity heavier so old combos don\'t work and you have to find new ones.  The walls add tons of new combos.

There are actually three new characters (Steve, Craig, and Jin\'s new style + Christie\'s new look == 1 new character :)).  I was hoping for more new characters too, but I am still happy with Tekken 4.

kuma/panda are the worst characters in tekken...apart from maybe the female yoshi...cant remeber her name now.



but why have made them have clothes and trainers on???? it just looks stupid

Actually, Kuma was good in TTT.  He was used to win some big tournaments and stuff.  A lot of people didn\'t know this because they didn\'t give him a chance.  They missed out on one of the coolest fighting styles in TTT. :p  I don\'t know how good he is in Tekken 4 yet though.

i haven\'t got to play as kuma yet but from what i have observed he is quicker then before. he can also do a fake from the fart. one thing i have noticed is it seems impossible to stun him.

I really doubt he can\'t be stunned.  That would make him way better than everyone else (except for Jin.  Man, he\'s cheap. :))

lol yeap jin is cheap but so is any character if used that way

there is a dude at the arcade we play at that all he does is win match after match with either a double gut punch then kicks you up and finishs you off with a 4 hit juggle with kazuya - drives everyone crazy

also now the same guy has timed how to get julia in random - he has too much time - anyway shes his best character - all he does is the ->-> 1 or 2 i cant remember - anyway its like a elbow - he does it to where you can get up or roll back - ahhh dang i hate julia

i have beaten the dude but its rare :p

Sure, anyone can be cheap.  But you need to learn how to get around that cheap stuff (btw, Julia\'s elbo is f,f,1 :) f,f,2 is Michelle\'s lunging punch [I\'m not sure if Julia got that move in T4 though]).  It will probably take a few rounds, but I\'m sure you\'ll find a weakness to that move, and Kazuya\'s stuff too.

The reason I say Jin is cheap is because he really is. :)  The tiers at TekkenZaibatsu forums are like this:

Average tier: almost everyone
Cheese tier: Steve
God tier: Jin

It is still too early to make a good tier chart, but as of right now, Jin is very hard to beat.  His "just frame" moves are a pain in the butt to avoid.
