Gamecube Out early?

Now when people go to buy their XBoxes when the store sells out (if they sell out) then theres the Alternative GameCube thats out early. Must have SSBM......

NO such luck here. All stores I contacted said the GC would not be sold early in their store - as not to create a "confusion", including pre-orders. So, I am thinking it depends a lot on the manager of the store and where you live, because around here, no place is going to break launch date.

Sucks that SSBM isn\'t a launch title.

EGM reviewed WaveRace Blue Storm and pretty much thought it sucked...

I loved that game on the 64! I remember doing the cheat to ride the dolphin and then going really fast and ramming the dolphin into sharp, jagged rocks.

I\'m trying to get in touch with our local stores, too.  So far, no luck.

Toys R Us has this thing where you talk into the phone and a computer matches your voice to a database to see if the game is in.

It goes "Please say the name of the toy or game you are looking for."
So I go "Nintendo Gamecube."
And it asks me again.
"Nintendo Gamecube."
Then it tells me, and this is a quote, "I think you said Playstation 2 game."

I cracked up with that one.

yeah your right its tops for FPS but now and then i like the full fun excitment that is Timesplitters even though its controller for a FPS.

i actually find that my reactions are quicker usinf the controoller than Mouse & Keyboard..

but i lost out on the accuracy

I\'ll be up early tomorrow making calls.  I do know that if it will be released (at this point it is totally up to the store, not Nintendo) then it would not be before the 15th.  If not... then Saturday at midnight. *shrugs*
