He didn\'t ruin the movie, but didn\'t suit it either. Jar-Jar relied just too much for practical humour - and practical humour just does not compute with SW.

I hated Ewoks as well - but never so much as Jar-Jar.

I think the problem with jar jar is that the people who grew up with Star Wars thought all the characters in the first three were cool because when they were young, they were cool...

Now that we\'re in our 30\'s, well maybe a wobbly character like Jar Jar just isn\'t our speed anymore.  I am willing to bet the 6-9 year olds probably didn\'t mind Jar Jar at all.

I actually didn\'t mind him at all for the record.  I was more annoyed with the lousy print at the theater I saw it at.  Black dust everywhere!!  Going to theaters pisses me off.  It always looks so much better and sounds so much better at home.

What did you guys thinks of the REAL trailer?  (BTW, if you get an error, just hit refresh)  Anyway, I\'m definatly seeing this one.  It\'s pretty obvious that Anakin is going to start to transform into Vader in this one which is soooo sweet.  And the third one will probably deal with luke and leia being born.  I\'m most interested in the clone wars :D

A frigging stupid name if you ask me.  But then, "The Empire Strikes Back" is sort of a stupid name too when you think about it.  We\'re just used to hearing it.  Remember that episode 6 was originally called "Revenge of the Jedi" but they changed it to "Return of the Jedi," which is a bit more boring I think.  I knew a guy in high school who got a "Revenge of the Jedi" t-shirt at a sci fi convention before the film was released.  Ah, when they changed the name it became his prized possession.  I wonder if he ever sold it...

I think "The Clone Wars" is a much better title than Attack of The Clones.  It could change though.

*after viewing the teaser for the first and definetely the last two times*

Disappointment is great. Did not get me any excited - good ol\' Joyda boy - and I should be a Star Wars fan goddamnit! Ok, it was worth a watch, but something I won\'t watch again.

Hopefully the trailer, wich will hopefully have sounds and musics, will get my emotions a little more upbeat...

Trust me, the moment the trailer comes out, I will have it posted in this thread.  For now you\'ll have to settle for the fake, and the teaser...
