i have 2 and they are in my room and sometimes they get noisy and i say HEY SHUT UP OR ILL TURN YA INTO CHICKEN WINGS!!!!! and it shuts them up.

I used too..

Don\'t feed them.. Then they will die.. It\'s pretty cool. :laughing:

I have a quaker parakeet. It\'s not an actual parakeet; it\'s green and somewhere between a parakeet and a parrot in size. And unlike a parakeet, they live an average of 20 years :)

I have 2. Paco II and Totem. I had a Paco I but he died :( . I love them. The only complaint is mine don\'t shut up. But they are cute. But I have a cat in my house which makes having parakeets very interesting. There are two birds in my house that my cat can\'t get.

Yes I\'ve got two females.  Recessive pied parakeets, both are blue, white, with black tiny bloches on their feathers.  Their names are Chipper and Opal, typical names:).

I think my parakeets names are unique. Paco and Totem. One is named after jeans and the other is named after a pole. I come up with weird names.
