Right, i\'ve heard various things from people about this game, but now i need straight answers!!

I had SSX and finished it, played it to death really! I want to know, considering all the other games that are out at the moment, is it really worth getting? How different is it from the first (which i traded in)? Should i rent it? Please help!!!

Tracks, characters and tricks of course, are differents. it should be more interesting, but i think that i will buy Shawn Palmer. it\'s less arcade and more near to  the simulation. :)

OK, I\'m going to explain SSX: Tricky to you.  I too owned and played SSX to death, and loved it.  I played it so much that I literally could not stand to put the disk in my PS2 anymore or even look at the box.  Then I got SSX: Tricky, and I\'m back where I started.  I\'m addicted once again, and I can\'t be happier.

Tricky is everything that was great about SSX, but it adds MORE and it\'s certainly different enough to make it make it a completely new challenge.  Tricky has more characters, and the characters are more fully developed.  I actually think I might complete the game with more than just two characters like I did with SSX.  The maps are so much more sophisticated and original than in SSX.  The animations are more detailed, the voice acting is awesome, the trick book is easier to use, no slow downs or drops in framerate, it goes on and on.  It\'s a much higher quality product than the original SSX was.

The only problem I\'m finding is that it might be too easy for me.  I don\'t think it\'s actually any easier than SSX was, but I just don\'t have any learning curve this time so it seems easier.  Maybe EA:Big should have actually made it harder to counteract that.  Anyway, that\'s my ONLY complaint.  This game is well worth the purchase.

This might be the game I get for X-mas so I\'m hyped about it.

And I agree with ddaryl on the simulation vs. arcade stuff.

If you want simulation, take your arse to the slopes and go board. Games are made to take things to the xtreme.
