Well, this is a nice little list to keep handy, so you can see if the problem of skipping that\'s been causing your nightmares is really just a driver/hardware issue, and not your PS2 or Xbox crapping out.

PS2 and XBOX DVD issues

Just glancing down the list, it seems like 1.30 was a better series of drivers for overall compatibility than the new 2.10 drivers, but then again, the quality is better with 2.10.  Oh, well.

Yeah it isn\'t always your PS2. When they make these things they need a specification that all the media has to be made to and all the drives for that matter. Apparently the specification for DVD media is very lose so you get some DVD players skipping on media, and some media being fussy with different players.

But still if all DVDs skip etc you shouldn\'t rule out the fact that it could be PS2 problems.

I would like to hope the skippin of some of my dvd\'s isnt the Ps2. Which its probably not... but I still cant seem to fix it. Its driving me nuts. I still havent even finished a dvd Ive watched like 4-5 times already... It just sits there waiting for correction.
