It did good it got a 4.1 out 5 which is very good. I plan on picking this game up when it comes out.:thepimp: :thepimp: :thepimp:

It says the graphics are better than the ps2 version mostly the fog effects, the morphing, and other little detail. I can\'t wait til this game comes out.

Anyhow, I\'m curious to play with Maria, but it doesn\'t justify another $50 purchase. I\'ll stick with my PS2 version.

I still haven\'t got silent hill 2 on ps2 yet.  So I figured since I waited this long I should go head and get the xbox version.  Plus ps2 has so many AAA titles out.  It will keep me busy for awhile.  Next ps2 game will be J&D.:nerd:

Does anyone know why they took out the grain effect filter?  I thought they added that in the PS2 version to give the game more atmosphere.

Actually, you only need to beat the game once to have access to that option.
It may be that your sole purpose in life is simply to serve as a warning to others.

My understanding is that the Xbox version does have the grain. Only you can disable it right from the start.
