O.K. gents how many copies of Gran Turismo 3 have been sold?

I keep seeing posts like the one above whenever Nintendo says something about the sales of their games.  So I\'d like to have a reliable unbiased sourse of how many GT3 sold in 9 days, and how many GT3 games have sold thus far....compared to SSBM.

In Japan GT3 sold over 1million the first 2 days. (If I remember correctly.. Or am I mixing GT3 up with PS2?!)

Well I aint even played GT3 yet but you gotta allow it coz well I don’t get my PS2 for another 4 days ( oh yes ! ) but I’ve been thinking about getting but its still £45 or online ( I always buy online ) £33 and for that price I\'d rather get a newer game . . .. On the subject of games going down in price is there gona be a platinum range.

GT3 sold far more copies in both America and Japan in a shorter period of time than SSMB did.  I think it sold more than 1 million in less than a week in both America and in Japan.

But as Ryu pointed out in another thread, Nintendo isn\'t lying or "riding the BS train."  They are only wording their sentences cleverly.  For example, they said something along the lines of, "SSBM is the fastest selling game for any system released this year."  The key word was this year.  The PS2 was released last year, so it is not included in Nintendos statistics.

A lot and its still selling.....

up there with Final Fantasy 10 and Metal Gear.....if not higher.
