Jak and Daxter people!!!

I just bought it yesterday but I can\'t play it yet cuz I didn\'t bring my PS2 to Iowa.  I just wanna know, is it more fun than Crash and does it live up to the hype?

I got it for Christmas, and just love it. Although the story line is not to be absolute liking (I enjoy more mature audited themes), the gameplay is fun. I\'m about 52% done with the game, and the only drawback besides the theme might be the skill level required. So far it\'s been rather easy, but I\'m hoping it\'ll get harder as I progress. It\'s a very gun game though, and I\'ve spent hours playing it over my christmas vacation.

I was a bit suprised that jak doesnt say anything (or atleast not yet; half way done) but daxter makes up for it with lots of funny comments especially when you die.

story line is a bit vague (skews tha spellin)

but all and all very good game.

havent played crash but its better than super mario 64.
But i dont think it is  to the level of legend of zelda (ive only played ocarina of time) because of all of the puzzle solving that you do in zelda.

Hey now.... I\'m offended...

Bladez hasn\'t played Jak and Daxter cause he\'s a loser... jk..

But I\'ll tell you what it\'s like.... it\'s really fun to learn the storyline... And as you play around.... You realize... It feels like a crash game... And plays like it a little...... But there is some parts in the game that makes you wanna rip out your hair... But when you finally get past that part... You feel great... Otherwise... The game\'s fun... Real fun... I\'m only 50% through the game and I actually forgot I owned it after I got Baulder\'s Gate and GTA3... Enjoy it Vivi..

Well, I finished it 100%.  All power cells, All orbs, all scout flies.  I like those types of games though where they give you a list of what to get.  A great gamr 9.3/10

Im really debating on whether I should buy this game or not. Its either that or a couple other items which Ive wanted for some time now. I have just the right amount for each but cant get both. Ahhh decisions decisions! :sconf:

it is excellent....i usually dont like platformers, but i love this

People out there go bash the NGC and 64 for kiddy games yet when a similar game comes onto PS2 they love it. Im not saying you guys bash the other systems.

Heck for all I know you guys probably own the other systems like me. But It\'s funny how I run into so many fanboys at the Video Store that bash the NGC about kiddy games then go grab jak and dexter to rent.
I have a hard time understanding this. Has Sony just completely brainwashed these people because if so Mission Accomplished.

Any comments would be appriciated.

thats true, but i think the point is that ngc games are like 80% kiddie games with kiddie graphics, ps doesnt get all that many, but the one that are are aimed for kids, why ngc trys to make 20 something play cutesy games

I got the game for Christmas as well and I must say its the best platform game I have played. But I have not played many platform games other than Crash Bandicoot. Anyways you\'ll love it. The only problem it seems to be short. I am about 30% done with the game.
