I was in town today to check out all these new games that are out.. (The once I didnt get ;))
To my surprise all PS2 in my town are sold out.. Everywhere!
I talked to Bossieman, he said the same thing about Gothenburg..
And I talked to one of my friends in Malmö.. Same thing there..

Hmm.. There are alot of happy kids out there :D

(About my picture, the server (Passagen) is having some problems, it will be up in a few days I hope..)

Several people here in Sweden have had problems getting PS2 for christmas. The retailer are selling "evidence-of-purchase-cards" so people can go and get a PS2 after christmas.
Today I wanted to buy jak & Daxter, well no luck for me.
THE PS2 MOST HAVE MADE SOME KIND OF NEW RECORD IN SWEDEN.

Same thing happened in the States last year. You couldn\'t get them anywhere. It was luck my mom picked it up. She was at the Wiz to ask about DVD players and it was sitting there.

Same here.... I had to wait a month and a half to get mine because of the shortage... Lucky I found one in that time also...

I remember last year during the PS2 hunting season, this guy at some video game store at this busy mall walks out of the store and holds up the distinguishable blue PS2 box above his head, signifying to onlookers that the PS2 was available.

The mad rush was comical to say the least! Women dragged their toddlers by their thing arms like cans attached to a "Just got Married" car!

Apparently, they had just received a shipment of 25 PS2\'s that day.

I also remember a lot or people lining up at Kaybee coz someone heard they had a shipment coming in.

If there were 3 million PS2\'s available last Christmas, it would have sold out. In fact, PS2 were selling quite well this Christmas, even with Xbox selling pretty hot as well.

I think Xbox has a looooong battle ahead. Especially since PS2 is now making a profit, hardware wise, where as Xbox is not.

Speaking of your pic, I saw Jay-Z wearing a shirt with that same guy on it on Unplugged.. Who is that guy anyway?

went to pick up my copy of 007 Agent under fire from my local EB yesterday and it was Packed.

it was so buzy that the staff had PS2 games lined up behind the check out ready for sale (spoke to my mate there and he said)

"Lots of Jax and Daxter sales, Tony Hawks 3 is selling like hot cakes and Devil May Cry is selling well too)

Play there was a LOT of PS2 Sales what with the PAL region Price drop...

it looks like they where close to selling outon quite a few of the main PS2 titles as well.
