please, somebody help (resident evil code v. x)

well im in antartica with chris on resident evil code veronica x, and i need to cut back on the power with the octavalve, problem is i had it with clair and she did something with when she was cuttin off the gas, and its not in my item box.  WHAT DO I DO??? i can open the door i need to go to without the power back on.  PLEASE HELP ME!

During Claire\'s game, before you could leave and fight the final boss, you needed to released the gas in order for Steve to safely get to the mine borer? That is where the valve is. This time though, its frozen and now you can walk on the ice  from the second floor.

i knew this much what does it mean i cant beat the rest of the game b/c that would be stupid if this is so

Well, I misread your thread and badly worded my reply, sorry. What I was trying to say, the valve should still be where you released the gas in Claires game. However, in Chris\' game, since the first floor is flooded (and frozen), you can access the area where the valve is through the room where Steve and Claire activated the crane and hit the pipe in the first place.

[edit]Also, if you needed to turn off the electricity, you don\'t need the valve anymore if you are at this point. Just use the handle on the power machine thingy.

Yeah I remember the situation you had because I had it too. It is possible to complete the game. I can\'t remember how I did it though it was a long time ago since i\'ve played that game.
