Mitsubishi or Subaru?

Evo 7 and the STi are said to come over to the US late this year...both around $25,000 (which is cheap if they didn\'t water it down too much).  So, assuming they really are coming...which one will you get?

I personally will go with Evo 7 can\'t resist the AYC...I CAN\'T WAIT!:bounce:

me, myself..EVO. I\'ve always like them more for some reason. Plus the abundance of 2nd gen. turbo motor mods *should* adapt right over. SInce its the same block, I bet getting crower rods and JE slugs spec\'d for the turbo dsm would be alot cheaper than getting some that were evo7 spec\'d.

I prefer V6 AWD Twin Turbo cars. :)  I don\'t get the attraction to the evo or sti, id rather go with an AWD DSM, at least they look sporty. Heres a pic of my ride. It was taken w/ a disposable camera :)  http://www.geocities.com/shovel97/Cars1.JPG
When im not playing PS2, Im out cruising in my VR-4.

Nice ride man, I just dont liek em since they are sooo heavy. I do like the 3kGT\' and TT stealth\'s. My personal cjoice for a TTV6 would be a MKIV supra, and of course Id do the single turbo conversion :)

True they are not the lightest, but they are not as heavy as people make them seem. The 96TT stealth (last year) only weighs ~3600lbs about 100lbs more than the supra, and lighter than a T/A.  Supra TT\'s are nice too, no AWD though :) And they have an I6 ;) Plus their dashes are very plastic-ee. :)  My car weighs 3750 w/my subs. They are \'heavy\' for a reason, they have AWD, AWS, ECS, MCE, Active Areo. They really arent drag cars, most of those gizzmos dont lower ET\'s, but they are great for cruising, and they drag really well. I can get 1.6 60\'s with regular z-rated tires, and run high 12\'s w/ just 1k in mods. And with the crazy rains we get in FL AWD is great, I love watching the moms in the Jeeps think they can take me at a light when the roads are a little slick :) (not that I race in the rain)

I guess to answer the original question, I would go with the EVO if those were my choices, the Mitsu 2.0 is one of the greatest 4cyl ever made and the first gen DSMs were pretty much bullet proof.

Dont know how I let TTV6 slip out :)

those 1st gen dsms are pretty tough. The only thing I dont like is the crank walk issue on the 2nd gens. *some* 1st gens have had it happen too, but usually a 2nd gen prob. I still want to get a GSX one day.

Hehe :) Crank walk is very rare in the 1st gens. I want to get a 92Tsi or gsx for a beater, I see them for under 4k everywhere, BPU it and run 13s, not to shabby. :) 1st gens are much better for performance over the 2nd gens, some people may not think they look as good but the 1st gens got much bigger turbos stock and they are lighter.
