After reading [this] story written by a fellow newsposter, I got curious if it were true or not. So I decided to email my buddy Matt who works at Bungie (whom you might remember from [this] article). Here is a quote from his email back to me:

No one can make a Halo movie because we (Bungie/MS) have not sold the movie rights to anyone.  Could it happen someday?  Anything\'s possible...but we\'d need to be reasonably sure that the people who got the rights would

A. follow through and actually make the movie; and
B. make a movie that didn\'t suck


So there you have it. Like he said anything is possible but some standards would have to be set.
