the basic course info is...

Computer Science (BSc)
the school of computing offers a three-year degree course that combines a practical study of all forms of computer software and a strong theoretical base in computing science. it provides the graduate with a level of numeracy and a theoretical base of long term practicality. students may combine computing science with studies in the social or natural sciences or can choose to study advanced communications, graphics, database or artificial intelligence.

Im currently doing a Computer Science BSc at uni in England.

In our first semester we have gone into topics such as:

JAVA Programming.
Social Impact of Computing.
Computer Environments.
Foundation Maths (Never did A-level maths).

Now our second semester has started im doing.

Software Archetecture.
Software Engineering.
Algorithms and Data Structures.
More Foundation Maths.

So far the course hasn\'t been over challenging but thats probably because I have been using computers all my life.

The uni you are at should have a web site telling you what your course covers.

see the thing is i know what the course covers ive read the overview and stuff. i know nothing about computers really, so all that stuff is sorta double dutch to me. what i want to know is, will i have trouble picking this stuff with little or no background in working with computers and or programming. am good at maths and stuff though. sorry, should have been more specific with my original post.
