Which basketball game??
« on: February 18, 2002, 02:59:07 PM »
Hi there,
Living in the UK it has to be said Basketball is hardly a popular sport over here however the odd game has started to be shown live which is nice.
Have played a couple of games in the past on my pc and really enjoyed them, love the stats they give which Americain sports appear to thrive on.

Was looking for previous posts earlier without much luck as the game everyone seemed to be suggesting was NBA 2K2 which apparently I can\'t get over here.

I was hoping if I give you a list of the games I can get which one would be best.
From what I can tell we have a choice between NBA street, NBA Live 2002 and NBA Hoopz.

Hoopz is half the price of the other 2 so I\'m thinking its pap.

Maybe somoene from the UK might know if NBA 2k2 is coming out over here in the near future??

Cheers for any help

Bilbo

Sim wise, 2k2 is the best, LIve 2002 isn\'t very good at all.  Streets is more an arcade game, 3 on 3, still a cool game though

Like NBA Live 2002 but is it just me or do the players seem awfully shiny. Kinda like someone took car wax or something, and waxed them down. I dont know, maybe Im just trippin, but NBA 2K2 is a game Im yet to play but would like to

Right, I called up Sega Europe just now, and they said, \'We have not confirmed a europe realease of NBA 2k2 for PS2 in europe...... yet.\' So, hopefully, they shall confirm it soon, and soon after that, it should be released, i mean, it can\'t take too long to convert the NTSC version can it? Knowing our UK releases though, I wouldnt be surprised if we never see it :(
