Japanese Developer Reveals 2 Xbox Exclusives

From Software is working on a new XBox real-time war simulation game called Thousand Land. The game has a sci-fi theme, you can use different tools to create your base, troops and weapons, when you gather enough power, you can start battling with other opponents in the land. The game will feature over 100 missions, two persons can battle simultaneously. Thousand Land is scheduled for a fall release in Japan.


From Software announced new info on their XBox simulation game Gaia Blade, the setting of the game has been changed to a futuristic robot combat, real time war simulation game. In the game you need to command your troop of battle robots to battle with the rivals in an air-flowing island. Each character can equip many different kinds of weapons, such as missiles, radar, homing laser and so on.

The first 2 screens look like nothing more then, Long cannons shooting Ping Pong balls, and parachuting salt and peper shakers to me.  Does not look like a fun game at all.



Edit: Im just joking around. Looks weird though....Hmm, maybe that is because it is strictly a Japanese influenced game.;)

This won\'t be a big seller on Xbox thats for sure. 1. it looks lame as hell. Even if it is exclusive to Xbox, and by the time this game comes out, Im sure Xbox will be non-exsistant in Japan unless they have a JAPANESE ONLY killer app or a bunch of them rather.  Hmm, oh well, This game won\'t appeal to the japanese anyways......Just give em FF and they are happy.

Real time strategy on a console?? Just how many RTS sells on a console??? NONE.

RTS are meant to be play on hi-res monitor on PC with a mouse...not a joypad in your living room!
