I\'d go with Maximo. It\'s a lot of fun and it\'s pretty challenging. I am on the snow levels now. 44% game completion.

Oh and I finally figured out that those crocidiles in the swamp levels can be killed. Was fun figuring that out.

Still have not gotten 100% mastery on any level. 97% is the best so far for me. I\'m not using any strategy guides.

I think Maximo is a great game.  I think it\'s fun as hell, and I haven\'t liked any 3-D platformer yet.  Just a good, old-school game, lots to explore and kill.  Hard, but not so hard you don\'t want to play it.  Of course, I haven\'t played Jak and Daxter, so that might be good too.  Most people seem to like it...anyway, if I were you, I\'d go with Maximo.

Devil May Cry : A great action/adventure single-player game that puts a heavy emphasis on the action.  Decent replay value as well, with lots of things to unlock.

Dynasty Warriors 3 : Another game that provides well in the action category.  Choose a warrior and take him (or her) through one of many epic war battles, fighting your way through thousands of soldiers and enemy generals.  A second player can join you on the battlefield as well, or you can both go against each other in the Versus mode.   A TON of replay value here, with many characters, weapons, and items to unlock.

ICO : A beautiful adventure, and nothing short of a masterpiece.  There\'s very little slice-n-dice gameplay here, but there are a plethora of puzzles to wreck havoc on your mind.  Not much to unlock after you finish the game, but it\'ll be hard to just throw it aside with little intention of experiencing the story again.  You should at least rent this one to give it a try.

Those three are my highest recommendations.  Some other great games include Red Faction, Silent Hill 2, Onimusha, and Ring of Red.  Check them out if you\'re not interested in anything else.

Damm... 182Ways just gave me a boner talking about ICO.

I have GOT to play this game... So many great adventures for the PS2 with emphisis on great puzzles & interaction instead of action.. you\'d almost think the Genre was comming back in style or something. :D

By the way, shut that fu*king Gamebot site link down.. it\'s a pirate site.

Hey PS2Fans and Kyo... read the FAQ brainiacs, way to get yourself set up for a banning there. Hope you enjoy READing these forums, cause that\'s all you\'ll be doing as soon as a mod reads this.

Idiots...
