Looking good!  :D

Here\'s some of the games PS2-specific features, as listed in the press release:

EA SPORTS Cards – Compete for, unlock and collect Formula One team specific EA SPORTS cards to win unique rewards and access new game modes.

11 All New Challenges – Building on the critically acclaimed “Challenge Mode” from F1 2001 you are now set multi car challenges where you must compete against the star drivers from the Formula One grid

Team Duel - Enter into a head to head battle and test your driver skills against an opponent in an equally competitive machine.

New Game Dynamics – Use the all new “Slingshot Bar” to slipstream opponents to pull off hi-intensity overtaking maneuvers.

Unique Team Characteristics – Feel the handling, AI and even engine sounds change as you test you skills in a team at the back of the grid or in a World Championship contender.

Spectacular Visual Effects – Experience game breaking moments from multiple director cameras and capturing the emotion of a hard fought victory with unique hero shots.

Yep nice..
But do they need to make a F1 game every frickin year?
Cant they wait at least 2 years between?

I mean.. the cars dont change that much do they?

That third one of the Ferrari looks like its been taken straight from the TV!! The others just look like previous games. I\'ve lost interest in F1 games now, they all seem to be getting worse, rather than better.

I don\'t mind a new game every year, because the driver and team linups change so much. But they need to get better.

I\'m tired of the only difference being current drivers and teams

Here is what F1 games need.

1. The ability to change the driver names to accomidate mid season changes and to enter your own name as a driver.

2. The ability to start your own team from the ground up. Name the team, design the look of the car and it\'s basic specs and compete for sponsors which are won buy better performance, giving you more money and access to better parts, thus a better car and better perfromances and better sponsors and more money for better parts and....well you get it.

3. Ways to unlock old classic tracks. Like the original Nurburgring (The 15 mile one) Or tracks that used to be part of the season years ago.

4. Open up classic F1 cars from years ago and race on a grid full of classic cars against the Legendary drivers of Old.

5. Why not let us race the tracks backwards or mirrored for fun.

All this seems like common sense to me and is frankly what I was expecting from "Next Generation" gaming.

Better Graphics are nice, but I want more for 50 Bucks.

Anyway, whats the  release date on this piece of crap because I\'m sure I\'ll buy it.

Later

Well, i\'m still loving F1 2001 so i\'m really looking forward to this incarnation.

Be nice to have about a 10 fps advantage over F1 2001.. that\'s all i could really ask for. Except...
there\'s also a small matter of the steering response of 2001.. it\'s a little bit lagged so i\'m hoping that they fix that
with this addition.

I\'m really looking forward to this.. anyone know of the Euro release quarter?
