Everquest or Asheron\'s Call: Dark Majesty?

Which should I buy?  I hear from different people that they are both about as good.  I\'m confuzzled and need some gamers to help me decide.

Everquest. Simple.

Yea get EverPatch and pay 13 bucks a month to see the fascinating error 1001

lol, I hate those messages.  Most of the time they are bull**** errors, like saying you lost connection to the internet ( and that\'s funny since I have cable modem).

yea heh it seems patch time always brings up some errors

and if you want to know if the servers are up and plus its a nifty tool i suggest dling EQU - its a pretty good program

also that erorr 1001 can come up if the log in server is really busy - happens a lot after patches - so just keep clickng enter really fast and eventually you will get it

Dunno about AC realy. Never played it. But I think EQ is more social though. This is the MMORPGs I have played:

Anarchy Online: It is a good game, best graphic I have seen in a pc game for a very long time. U can do quests (even though, I find this quests very boring), max lvl is 200 , I only bothered to lvl to 20. U can solo much better here then in other mmorpgs. The positive thing about this game is
-Graphic is almost incredible
-Music is very good in this game
-Roleplaying is taken much more serious in this game
-Almost no downtime between fights
Negative points:
-LAG.... its almost unplayable when many players are at same area
-Bugs, and lot of em
This could be a good game, but Lag and Bugs just screw it up.... and I dont like laggy games realy. The PVP in this game isnt as it should be...

Dark Age of Camelot:
Also a good game actually... and if u like PVP, u will love this game at higher lvls. It is a VERY stable game, I have never gone LD or any lag in this game. It is a very group friendly game, easy to find groups, not so easy to solo at higher lvls though. Max lvl u can gain in this game is 50... I lvled a Druid to 12 and a Bard to 21.
Positive facts:
-PVP: In this game, there are actually wars between the different realms... u can make siege weapons, and attack enemy forts etc.
-Connection in this game is also very good... this is how every MMORPGs should be.
-Groups are easy to join
Negative facts:
-Graophic: Its not impressive at all, about the same as old EQ... and that game is 3 years older.
-Music: Almost no music at all... and the music that is in the game is boring.
-Classes: I find em boring.... too repetive
-Lvling is too boring... u fight the same sort of mobs over and over again, u gain higher lvls, u still fight the beetles , just with different name over their head, and maybe a lil bit bigger then what they were at lvl 1.
-Gameplay:I move soooo slow... even with my bard running song. And the overall movements is just weird. U wont have the same controll over your character as in EQ.
-Roleplay: No roleplaying here sir.
-The world is just too small...
-Customer Service: Yes, its much worse then EQ actually.
-Equipment isnt so fun to gain here, as in EQ.... A lvl 20 guy will look as cool as a lvl 50 guy... not fun at all

Everquest:
This is my favourite MMORPG... Now, this game gets you addicted. I can play this game for 10+ hours without getting bored.Max lvl u can gain in this game is lvl 60, I have a lvl 60 Magician , lvl 25 Shadowknight and I am currently playing a lvl 21 Bard.
Positive Facts:
-Graphic: This game looks realy good with the Luclin graphic on Without, it looks crap though.
-The game is HUGE.... it will take u about a year to gain lvl 60, and more to be able to explore every zones in this game.
-Raids: Raids realy are fun in this game, doing something together with your guild.... Have a goal, and accomplish it (gaining epic, killing that bad ass dragon.. that has killed you and your guild for the last 7 attemps etc)
-Lvling: This is the only MMORPG I find lvling fun.... at least up to 54. It is always something you look forward to... Skill, spell whatever.
-Dungeons: EQ has the best designed dungeons of em all....
-Loot: Always something special you want... and when u gain it... its like christmas for you.  U will look at it every 3rd minute for the next 2 weeks. This is something no other games has accomplished...
-Friends: This is the reason u play this game at higher lvls.... if u dont have friends in EQ at higher lvls, it will get boring as hell.
-Gameplay: Best gameplay, u move like u want to... and u dont move slow like in DAOC. The classes is also much more balanced in this game then in the other MMORPGs I have tried.
-Dragons !!! Wont say more then that hehe
Negative Facts:
-Luclin require too much. U need 512MB Ram to play it... that is a lil bit too much.
-PVP: This game is nothing compared to DAOC when it comes to PVP.
-U will have serious problems to get your ass off the chair.... u cant stop playing
-Guides: Good god I hate em, why be  a Guide when u dont know a **** about the game ? I ask em something , and they dont know... "sigh"
-Groups: At lvl 50+ it can be difficult for some classes to join groups sometimes.... often that is the classes that can solo best (Necromancer, Magician, Wizard etc) But at lvl 50+ u find soloing very boring... and fooling around with your LFG flag over your head (Looking for Group) is not fun.
-Lvling at lvl 54+ is not boring, but not as fun as it was before ... because u gain exp so incredible slow. If u play everyday, u can gain 1 lvl in 1 week.
-Raids: If it didnt go as intended hehe, and someone screws it even more up.... so it all ends up with a big CR (Corpse Recovery) Mission. But this is part of the game , u cant win all the time

So, I find Everquest most enjoyable... 2nd place has be Dark Age of Camelot, even though it is a lil bit repetive.... Anarchy Online could be a great game... but it is just unplayable with so much lag. Hmm.. I think I wrote more then I should..... sorry for my bad english :/
