A platformer is a sub-genre of adventure.

Luigi\'s Mansion is adventure, but it\'s not a platformer. - Blade

o_O No, they\'re not. Do I really have to go into this whole spiel again? Stop calling these games adventures when they\'re obviously not. I could see where someone would make the connection between luigi\'s mansion and a sub-genre of Adventure.. but normal platformers have NOTHING in common with Adventure games. Don\'t even go there man, because I will rip you to shreds.   I am very protective of my Adventure games.

Wanna see an Adventure game on the GameCube... let\'s have LucasArts make a new Sam & Max game!

[EDIT] There is a new Sam & Max game comming out. Click here for details. http://xbox.ign.com/articles/137/137115p1.html [EDIT]

SAM & MAX?!?!?!?!? HOLY CRIPES ON TOAST!

Goody good.. I\'ve been waiting for this announcement only for, hmm, about 8 BLOODY YEARS! Too bad the game won\'t be sprite-based... all just has to be 3D nowadays *pissed off* Look at what they did to Simon the Sorcerer :( *cries*

PS2: Excellent system all around, you can\'t go wrong with a PS2. Great games, great graphics.

GameCube: From what I have seen it looks pretty nice, however if were not for the Resident Evil series being exclusive for this system I would not be buying one.

Xbox: Again, an excellent system. The latest in gaming technology. Not a lot of games yet but most of the ones I have tried are top notch. The game library is starting to grow, although still to slowly for my liking. The features this system offers, Hard drive, on line ready, HDTV ready, in game Dolby 5.1 surround sound and the sheer power of the system make this one my favorite of the group. Unmatched graphics and realism make gaming more exciting then ever. The future is definitely with the Xbox.
