Try and add this hack.  It keeps track of your HP, MP, Exp jsut like in an RPG. http://forums.emusanet.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=7172

I\'ve been to a few forums with stuff like this.  To be honest, a lot of it, beyond post count, starts to encourage spam.  I just mean to say that I\'ve noticed that spam is more prevalent on sites that have multiple rewards for posts.

One site:
2 gold, per reply, 4 per new thread.
1 exp per post, level is posts + time registered/24 or something.

I noticed on that site that most people replied with 1-5 word answers to 40 posts a day, to get gold to buy classes, avatars, weapons, etc.

I\'m not saying it\'s a bad idea, just one that should be carefully considered, and if implemented, one that will require a stronger anti-spam policy by the mods.

I kinda like the karma rating thing a little better myself.

Yea I agree with FatalX.  Fourms are not about status, its about going somewhere online and talking.  This site talks about video games, its not one.

That HP/MP/EXP hack is overused, in my opinion.  At first I thought it was a nice feature, but after being a member of several boards that have it installed, I know now that it really doesn\'t add anything to a forum.
