picture quality is poop, but it certainly has a j&d kind of look over it, which gives it some credit, I think I\'ll wait before I give any opinions on this one

Looks soooo sweeeeeeeeet!

They are using the Jak and Daxter graphics engine so this game will be free of pop-ups and drawins

The pics never seem to look all that good from this end of the modem, but hey it looks like a cute rental for the wife and kids.

the game looks better then J+D IMO

which it should because they\'ve had the extra time to make the improvements

plus the gameplay will be unique for a platformer which is something J+D failed at

lookig forward to seeing it in motion

Yeah

They seemed to get rid of the J and D "vsync" problem which at times in J and D made the game very blurry.

that J&D pic Fastson posted completely blows away the ones shown

but something tells me that Ratchet and Clank will look fantastic in motion, the effects are supposed to be amazing.. and see all those buildings in the background of that one pic give a good indication as to what we can expect

and the gameplay is what me and my friends have been talking about and wanting for ages.. should rock.. as far as Platformers go..

just remember Ddaryl, dont get your hopes up too much.. like you did with J&D

I agree that screen shots J+D is better in this thread

but its obvious to me that the screens aren\'t the best quality IMO

and I am trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I want to play a true next gen platformer

Not a 1st gen platformer with excellent graphics

Thats because I grabbed that picture myself. You all know I got 1337 skillz..

Those Ratchet and Clank screenies have really bad quality.. Look at the edges of the robot (the red one), see how the colour is blurred out, looks like its leaking.
They prolly grabbed those with composite cables (the 2nd worst cables after RF) and used heavy JPEG compressions. (loss of colour data and even more blurriness)

I dont want to brag or anything but I finaly got 100% in J&D
