Well, I just reached 500 posts, so I can get an avatar now if I choose to.  Do you think it\'s smarter to get one now though, or to wait until I get more stars and a higher ranking?  I\'m not sure which to do.

wait till 1400 so your stars dont freeze.  once you get your pic your stars freeze....I have under 100 posts till I am getting mine......I need to look for one........

Yeah, that\'s the only reason I wouldn\'t get one now.  I was considering waiting until 800.  Sort of a happy medium between the two.

I guess it all depends on how important your status here is. I have 5 stars and an avatar. I made a lot of posts to get them but it was worth the efforts. I just think it looks cool to have five stars above your av. Just think, after you get 1400 posts you may have an avatar as cool as mine! Go Kermit, GO!:D
