Add to the newbie FAQ...

This is something I think the FAQ needs, a new rule.

Now, I have a plan to reduce spamming.  I am tired of newbies showing up and hearing oh, I need 500 post to get an avatar.

High Speed Spamming On

Then they reach...

High Speed Spamming off, member disapears, or becomes annoying.


My proposal, an add-od to our avatar policy...

500+ Post, along with 6 months here at PSX2Central, 6 months may be harsh, but maybe we can negotiate to 3-4.  I think this will help out admins, as well as improve the atmosphere of the forums.

I like his idea..that or like someone mentioned in my thread below..incorporate the member rating system into it to determine if the members feel said poster should receive and avatar yet.

But yes... We need a 500 or 700, or 1000 post limit, WITH a 6 month wait.  I hate people who manage to get their avatar in a month with 15 posts a day, comprising 20-40 words TOTAL.

We also should add an absolutely no double (triple, quadruple...) posts! rule - the EDIT button works just great...  Also, only MODs should be able to bump threads, for valid reasons.
