Having traded in my Xbox for a PS2 (Wise move) I see quite a few games priced at $30 CDN. Now Capcom is following suit. Hopefully others will too. It\'s nice to get a break once and a while. I used to pay up to $85 for Xbox games.

Also Resident Evil Veronica X is priced lower and I was wondering if that is a good game and will we get the new GC version of that game?

^^^^^^^^^^^^

I\'m with Fastson on this one.

The prices in Europe are even higher than in the US. We pay around 62 USD for each PS2 game and you don\'t even want to know how much we pay for Xbox games or FFX and its crappy coversion.

I hope they do that here soon... or at least make the games look like the NTSC ones

Code Veronica is a good game.. but its easily the worst in the series

im pretty sure GC is getting the remake of it.. but i think its just a graphical upgrade rather than what happened to RE1

Prices are slowly coming down over in Europe, we got the platinum range which is £20 a game ( £18, online ) and there is a host of titles which you can get online for under £20 brand new, like I have Spy Hunter on order for £18 brand new ( out of stock though, long! wait ) . Just look around and you can get cheap games, my advise is buy online ( play.com ) they sell allot of games at £30 so that really aint all bad... I will have to abanden my lovly play.com for Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth as Ill be getting it 1 - 2 weeks earlly at £40.

Huh?  Code Veronica is easily one of the best in the series.  Though it might not be better then RE2, it is better then RE1 and lightyears ahead of the Code Veronica time filler known as RE3.

But as for GameCube version it really wouldn\'t make sense to remake it as they wouldn\'t be able to make an astonishing graphical upgrade like RE1,2 and 3.

It\'s hard to say CV was better than RE 1... I had way more fun the first time I played then the first time I played CV.

Despite what some others might say, Code:Veronica is a great game. It\'s the toughest outta the original 4, and there is only one difficulty mode. But I enjoyed it way too much to care. If you\'re a RE fan, then get this game. If not, then maybe rent it before you decide.

Pros:
good graphics
acting = best in series (so far)
challenging gameplay
usual spooky amtmosphere

Cons:
some times TOO challenging
cheap hits
limited item space (in the begining/end)
Steve Burnside is a Leonardo DiCaprio clone- what\'s that aboot?!
not enough unlockables

My Rating:
8.5/10 :)
The fire still burns...

I have Code Veronica for Dreamcast and I thought it was great.  You gotta get Resident Evil for Gamecube.  It\'s so freaky and disturbing.  The lighting effects, dust particles.  The Zombies just look so FREAKY!!

With Sony\'s hardware sales so high, it may not be long before titles launch at $40
