Playstation 2 Problems!

I bought a Playstation 2 a year ago and it was scratching up my CDs and not playing DVDs very well. so I took one of my games that broke to a videogame store and they said my playstation2 was a 1st addition. So I keep on using it and about a week ago the laser stoped working (Broke). So I called sony and they could fix it for lots of money so I decided to take it apart myself I took the laser out and got a new one from a friend. but while I was trying to put the new laser in I notice that the cord thing that connects the PS2 to the Open on,off,reset button had broke and came off. So I got a new cord Had to take the PS2 apart to connect to the PS2 but now I have forgotton how to put it back together.So if you know any web sites or anything that has Pictures or anything on how to put it back together please tell me

So, you blame sony for it breaking in the first place when you could have sent it to sony to repair, voided any waranties you may have had by opening up the machine in the first place, took apart the machine without cataloguing HOW you took it apart in the first place, and then cry for help because you should have just sent it to sony to begin with?  You\'ll get no love from any of us, that\'s for damn sure.
