Whats this that I hear about not having to buy the PS2 network adaptor?  you can use a USB network adaptor in its place.  If that is true, do you need the startup disk or no?  If this will work, Im gonna get this to use until my playstation network adaptor comes in (Sept 16th)

Yup the Linksys USB100TX works. I\'m using it untill I can get my hands on Sony\'s adaptor.

Aparently it works with Madden and maybe several other games as well.  The fear is that not all games will support it.  You could certainly buy it though and use it as long as you can and easily sell it off if and when you really need the Sony adapter.
