Yeah the network adapter is a hot item now. I was reading what Ultimate Male was saying about problems connecting to the SOCOM server (I saw the thread was closed) and thought I should point out to anyone who thinks this adapter is a failure that EVERY online game (PC especially) has had problems the first week or so after launch. Everquest had serious problems for the first few weeks, don\'t even get me started about Anarchy Online. I cancelled my account after of month of their promises... but I hear it is running fine now. These problems are not related to the network adapter, but to the server ie the SOCOM server. With so many people buying the adapter and SOCOM its no surprise that the SOCOM servers are getting hammered. With such a high profile game I am sure the problems will be corrected very soon. To make a judgment THE DAY OF LAUNCH is just plain stupid.

Anyway, I really like the adapter and it brings a whole new aspect to the PS2. Now if Sony can get a cheap HD to fit in there I would be in heaven.
PS - oh yeah to any Xbox fanatics - I traded in 4 Xbox games to get my adapter. I am not an PSfanboy - I also bought Dead to Rights and am enjoying that game as well.
