Gaming-Tech Radio - my internet radio show
« on: August 29, 2002, 06:34:15 PM »
Please listen to my radio show tomorrow (Friday August 30th). Its called Gaming-Tech Radio. Me and my co-host (Renegade) talk about all gaming and technology news, and anything else we want to talk about. This will be our second show. We\'re still a bit rusty, but we\'re getting better. Its at 6:00pm Eastern. The chatroom is #gt-radio on irc.netfrag.com. You can call into the show via Buddyphone (http://www.buddyphone.com, give SolidSnake88 a call).
Eventually we will have a phone system set up for calls as well.
You can listen to last weeks show by downloading it here.
Seeing as how its our first show its kind of embarassing :/
Trust me, next show we will be much better. We\'ll have more news, better music. And hopefully more call-ins. Please help contribute to the show and make it better by listening, calling in, and if you want to plug something or just get your name on the air then send a personal message to SolidSnake88[CSR] in the chatroom.

Please understand that due to the fact that me and my co-host are in different countries, talking via MSN messenger, there are some problems and limitations we can run into.

Also, if you do listen to the show please feel welcome to post your comments/criticisms in here. We have to know whats wrong so we can improve it.

Thanks

6:00pm EST????? That\'s 3:00pm PST!  I\'m at work buddy, sorry.  You should start at 10pm EST to make sure you get the maximum North American audience.  Forget about those stupid europeans!  :p

I\'m on the West coast. 3:00pm works great for me.
But that isn\'t the final time. We might pick another, later one.

Good luck to you man.  I listened to quite a bit of it.

It\'s pretty dificult isn\'t it.  I can\'t listen live, but keep posting links to old shows.  It will be interesting to see if you guys improve any.

It\'s always easier when you start getting calls.

That was a HORRIBLE show. Both our relays died after just a few minutes of broadcasting.
And we started off so good to...

I\'ll post the MP3 when I get it edited... if its not too embarassing... :/

We\'re gonna have a show next Monday (labor day) to make up for it.

...

sorry

Sorry Sammy, I should have gone into more detail about how to listen.
You need Winamp to listen (although I think Realplayer works to). During the show a link will be given out to start up the stream.

And we\'d love to get a call from you.

BTW I just checked and it didn\'t record the show either. :/ Fux0r. Oh well it sucked anyway...... and now we can say the same news over again and no one will know :D:D
