My Network Adaptor rattles?
« on: August 30, 2002, 03:21:53 AM »
Does anyone have any parts that shake on their adaptor?  There is a part on mine that connects to the hhd, when it arrives, that is loose.  How about anyone else?

If not then I\'m taking this back for another one.

I think you got a screw loose.

No.  My screws aren\'t loose.  If you check the inner ports it\'s the larger one that connects to the hard drive, when it becomes available.  It shakes.  I know all about the screws but there is someone else that says that theirs rattles also.  I\'m going to check the Sony site and see if there are any post about it there.

Doesn\'t sound very promising if it rattles. Have you tried to use it to see if it actually works?

It works.  But I just wanted to make sure that mine wasn\'t they only one with the loose part.

Nevermind.  I disconnected it and took a look through the side and that part is connected to an IDE cable.  So it\'s going to move a bit.
