Welcome to Console Discussion. Please read these few simple guidelines and keep them in mind when posting in this forum.

Guidelines:

  • When you make a new thread, please make the subject line relevant to the content you are posting.
  • Do not post a new thread in reply to a locked down thread.  If you have a problem, please PM a mod.  Don\'t make a new thread to complain about it.
  • When replying to a post, please make your reply relevant to the subject at hand in some form or fashion. "lol", "What? What? What?" is not a reply.
  • Constructive insults are welcome, but please try to work them into your reply to the subject.  In other words, don\'t make a new post just to make a clever insult.  This takes the thread off topic and usually never gets back on track.
  • Name calling isn\'t prohibited in here.
  • This is not a chat room.  If you have something to add that\'s completely off topic, by all means take it to off topic or at least PM the person you want to address.
  • This is not a playground, so don\'t treat it like one.

That\'s all, just remember to keep it fun.

Note: Now that Console Debating is closed, a lot of threads from the previous have been moved over here. This does not mean we welcome threads of the same manner, meaning we do not want threads that do nothing but induce flame wars. There was a reason we got rid of Console Debating, we realized that it was trivial and stupid to sit in flame wars over the same thing. On the other hand we have had a good run with Console Discussion, where talk about the latest game / hardware and industry news is welcome, yes even discussing differing opinions is welcome. The main difference in this and Console Debating is the fact we want it to be kept clean. You\'re welcome to have a different opinion and you are welcome to share that opinion and defend it, but if the thread gets out of hand or members are insulting people, we will close the thread or delete posts. It\'s that simple, folks.

Main thing is, keep it clean and have fun. It is about enjoying our hobby and discussing it. Not fighting about it.
