Looks great. Awesome backgrounds.. but the cars look too... ermm.. CG-ish. They need to loose a bit of that plastic look. Take the cars from GT3 and put them in PGR2\'s tracks.. and you\'d have one helluva fine looking game.

Too bad I\'m not really all that interested in PGR/MSR type racing. Maybe if they carry over that "advance by wins and not by Kudos" option from PGR1....

pstwo, are there ANY X-box games that don\'t impress you?

Seriously.

Would you die for Microsoft, pstwo?

Effechinate feelings for a company like M$ is so sad.

I can just picture it now. Microsoft.... in the need of retaliation..need more troops for our first line..

*Bill, phone our good buddy pstwo, he\'d take a bullet for us, even though we only make buggy OS\'s and X-box*

ooseven it is not a GT wantabie, not even close.

Also,  I have to say I\'m underwhelmed.  You could have easily convinced me that these are PGR1 shots.  They have a long way to go.

The backgrounds are much better now compared to PGR1.  The cars do need some work but still look good.

Only things I see that should be improved are the road and the cars graphics.

Is it me? Or does PSone own all the other systems?

The game looks better than Project Gotham and it\'s over a year away...a long time for improvement on an already good looking game.

hmm... I wonder if they\'ll be able to make the cars look a little more realistic.  I guess thats where the custom effects on PS2 come in handy.

I haven\'t seen a console game yet that has cars as nice as GT3s, at least from far away.

Those GT3 cars are gross up close, they need detail texturing... bad.

PLAYED the first, was not very impressed except the graphics which were pretty good for a game developed that fast.

This new one looks a little better, than again only time will tell.

I am really hoping that some dev brngs out a game like Crusing the usa, or need for speed I really liked those games, I can\'t stand sim racers like segagt or GT

Nice reflections on the cars and the shadowing is admittedly nice.

Looks good, I just hate te XBOX\'s texture rendering system. I much prefer gritty colours, not these bright yellows etc.

MyStiKaL, this is your one warning.. do NOT antagonize fights in this forum or you will find yourself restricted from it. This is discussion, not debate. I don\'t like the fact that many of debates topics have jus been dropped in here like stankin turds on a polished floor, but we\'re trying to make the best of it until the situation gets remedied. If you insist on smearing that shit around, you will be removed.

This goes for EVERYONE else as well. If you want smartass comments and flaming, petition mm to bring Console Debate back. Don\'t bring it in here.

I\'ll add to Sonyfan\'s comment. I am currently goin\' through a lot of these threads and closing the ones that need closed and editing some posts that need edited. Now, if you want to treat this place like Console Debating and start fights, we m0ds will delete your posts at first and if that doesn\'t work, you\'ll get banned from the forum. It\'s that simple. There is a Rules & FAQ sticky that I suggest every one of you new members or Console Debating regulars read. It\'s a lot more strict over here for one reason, we want it to be kept civil.

I\'m not goin\' to close this thread, but if it gets any worse the thread gets closed or a mass prune of crap will be deleted, which ever looks to be the best option.

Control yourselves guys.
