NBA 2k3 connection problem

I tried logging on today, and was having some problems.  It has been fine, up till now, that is.  I\'ve played three games, I signed on to play my fourth.  I\'m connected and everything ... can chat and all, then when I go to play someone, it says something to the effect of "Waiting on Remote System".  Anyone know what that might mean/what I can do to fix it?
